What are Chemical Injection Quills?
Chemical Injection Quills are used to inject chemicals pumped by metering pumps into the turbulent flow zone of high pressure water or steam lines. For example, Boiler Chemicals require an injection quill to disperse the chemical directly into the water stream or into the center of a feed water tank or deaerator. What pressure can Chemical Injection Quills be used to?
Stainless Steel and Carpenter 20-C can be used to 3,000 psi. PVC and Kynar Chemical Injection Quills can be used to 150 psi.
