Frequently Asked Questions
I have a question regarding how much ChemWorld 901 to add to a 400 gallon chiller reservoir to raise the molybdate level by 50-150 ppm?
The 35% sodium molybdate is 16.5% as Mo (molybdenum). To achieve 50 ppm Mo residual in a 400 gallon system you would feed 11.3 ounces of the 35% Sodium Molybdate.(400 gallons) x (50 ppm/0.165) x (gallon/11.48 #) x (8.34 #/gallon) x (128 oz/gallon) = 11.3 ounces
What is the density of your liquid 35% Sodium Molybdate?
The density of our Sodium Molybdate solution is 11.51 lb/gal.
