What boiler tests need to be performed to monitor the residual? This product comes with a Phenolphthalein Indicator Solution chemical that is directly tied to the water pH. Just add to the water until the water turns pink. No chemical testing is required. Just monitor the water color and add as needed. If you want to perform testing still, use any standard sodium nitrite test kit.
