What are Neptune DBF Feeders?
Neptune DBF feeders come in a three different sizes. These popular designs are Neptune DBF-2HP, Neptune DBF-5HP, and Neptune DBF-10HP. The 2, 5, and 10 represent the capacity in gallons the unit holds. For larger systems, use the larger sizes to reduce the number of times you will need to fill the units in order to get all required chemicals into the system. The Neptune VTF is a flat bottom design.
What chemicals can added to the by-pass feeder?
Corrosion inhibitors such as, ChemWorld 2338, is commonly added to prevent corrosion within hot water and/or chilled water loop systems along with a non-oxidzer chemical (chillers only). Both Liquids, pastes, and powders may be added into the feeder.
What size filter bags are used in the VTF/DBF feeders?
The VTF/DBF Neptune filter feeders are designed to use only Neptune PAC 6 bag. Only the Neptune FTF filter feeder units are designed to use four different size filter bags, which are 1, 5, 20, and 50 micron sized Neptune filter bags.
