ChemWorld most popular Chilled Water Chemical is ChemWorld 2238. This product is an all in one Nitrite, Borate, Silcate, and TT product designed to minimize corrosion with chiller systems. This product is also commonly used in hot water systems. For systems with temperature over 45F, Nitrite is not a favorable product due to the nitrite being a food source for bacteria. If your chilled water loop is higher then 45F, consider using a molybdate treatment program. These closed loop chemicals are often feed into the industrial pot feeder that should be installed on a side stream loop.
